I’m a self-taught painter through books and video lessons.

I graduated from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2004 and worked as a film/video professional. Since moving to Germany in 2017 I have found that painting suits my temperament much better.

I’m interested in different styles and disciplines of art, but currently I mainly paint in what some term impressionistic realism. I plan to work in other styles like abstract and hyperrealism in the near future as well.

At the moment I’m particularly interested in ideas related to understanding our “reality” because that’s what I have been paying attention to.
