We can always be free in our consciousness. I believe it’s our choice. A lot of the time we walk around in our mental prison. I personally believe that our experience in life is a direct mirror of our inner self. So, to me, it's important to feel free always no matter what.

The visual idea came from a walk through an area of farmland/woodland outside of Tübingen, where I used to live. The painting is very textured because I started the painting with just palette knives and thick paint.
